Reporting a bug
To help us reproduce and fix the problem quickly, please include:
- your iPhone model (for example, iPhone 15) and iOS version: see Settings › General › About on your iPhone;
- the game language;
- where it happened: the chapter and battle name, or the screen (map, party, shop…);
- the steps: what you did, what you expected and what happened instead;
- a screenshot or screen recording, if you can (on most iPhones, press the side button and volume up together);
- for the web version, your browser and its version.
Saves and progress
How is my progress saved?
Automatically, on your device, as you play. There’s no save button and no account.
Can I sync progress between devices?
No. The game has no online features and no cloud sync, so progress on one device (or in the web version) doesn’t carry over to another.
How do I move my progress to a new iPhone?
Move it together with the rest of your data: set up the new iPhone from an iCloud backup or a backup on your computer, or transfer directly from your old iPhone with Quick Start. The game’s data comes along. We can’t restore progress ourselves, because we never have a copy of it.
I deleted the game. Can I get my progress back?
Deleting the app deletes its data. It can only be recovered by restoring your iPhone from a backup made before the game was deleted.
How do I start over?
Open Settings, tap Reset progress and confirm. Your settings are kept. You can also choose New game on the title screen. This can’t be undone.
Settings
Where are the settings?
Tap Menu in the bottom bar of the map, party or shop screen, Settings on the title screen, or the menu button 
at the top of a battle.
How do I change the language?
The game starts in your iPhone’s language if it’s English, Spanish or Russian, and in English otherwise. To switch, open Settings › Language and choose English, Español or Русский.
Why is there no sound?
Music and sound effects are off by default. Turn them up with the Music and Sounds sliders in Settings. If you still hear nothing, check your iPhone’s volume and silent mode.
Can I turn off vibration?
Yes: Settings › Haptics.
What does difficulty change?
Choose Easy, Normal or Hard in Settings › Difficulty. It changes enemies’ health and attack and applies from the next battle. You can switch it at any time, even for a single tough fight.
Battles feel slow. Can I speed them up?
Yes: Settings › Battle speed (×1, ×1.5 or ×2).
Battle basics
Your turn, step by step:
- Tap a hero. Blue tiles show where they can move; red tiles show enemies they can attack right away.
- Tap a blue tile to move there, or tap Act here to stay in place.
- Choose an action: Attack, one of the hero’s skills, Item (potions) or Wait. Before you confirm, you’ll see the damage forecast and whether the enemy will strike back.
- Changed your mind after moving? Tap Undo to put the hero back, as long as they haven’t acted yet.
- When everyone has acted, tap End turn.
What do the buttons at the top of a battle do?
- Auto: auto-battle, the AI plays your heroes’ turns. The button appears once you turn on Settings › Auto-battle. Tap it again to take back control.
shows the enemies’ whole threat zone: every tile they can reach and hit. You can also tap any enemy to see its stats and range.- opens the menu: How to play, Settings, restart or retreat.
What do the stars mean?
You can earn up to three per battle: for winning, for winning without losing a hero, and for finishing within the turn limit.
What happens when a hero falls?
They sit out the rest of that battle but aren’t lost for good: they come back afterwards.
Stuck on a battle?
Try a few of these:
- Level up. Replay battles you’ve already won to earn XP and some gold. Even a defeat gives part of the XP.
- Spend talent points. Every level gives one. Open Party, pick a hero, and raise skill ranks or use Training to boost stats.
- Upgrade gear. Buy weapons, armor and charms in the Shop, then equip them on the hero’s Gear tab. Chests and personal quests drop gear too.
- Use potions with Item during battle.
- Use the terrain. Forests and thickets reduce damage to a hero standing in them, and shrines heal.
- Check the threat zone before moving, so enemies can’t gang up on a lone hero.
- Lower the difficulty in Settings › Difficulty. It applies from the next battle.
Devices and the game
Does the game work offline?
Yes. The iPhone app works completely offline and never needs an internet connection. The web version needs one only to load the game from its website.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No, neither. The game doesn’t collect any data either; see our Privacy Policy.
Which iPhones are supported?
Any iPhone with iOS 15 or later.
Can I play on iPad?
The game is made for iPhone. On iPad it runs as an iPhone app: in portrait, in an iPhone-sized window that iPadOS can enlarge. Everything works, but there’s no special iPad layout.
